Importing ICS Files

  1. Before using the importer, make sure you have exported your calendars as an ICS file from your previous calendar software. Directions can be found here.
  2. Click your name to open the user menu.
  3. Click Import Events.

  1. Select a venue from the dropdown.
  2. Click Next: Upload ICS Files.

  1. Select a date type from the dropdown. The options are:
    • Mixed Dates: dates are brought in without a default type.
    • Holds Only: dates are brought in as holds without hold ranks applied.
    • Confirmed Only: dates are brought in as confirmed dates.
    • Notes: dates are brought in as notes.
    • Blackouts: dates are brought in as blackouts.
  2. Click Upload File.
  3. Select the ICS file from where it is stored on your computer.

  1. Click Next: Date Range.

  1. Set the date from which to start the import. By default, this is the first day that has an imported item.
  2. Set the date on which to end the import. By default, this is the last day that has an imported item.
  3. Click Next: Organize.


Organizing Imported Dates

Assigning Types to Dates

Before a date can be added to the calendar queue, it must be given a type.

  1. Click the dropdown under the Type column.
  2. Click the type this date should be: Confirmed, a specific hold rank, Not Available, Note or Blackout.

Adding a Single Date to the Queue

Once the date has a type assigned, click the blue arrow button.

Adding Multiple Dates to the Same Event
  1. Once the dates are set to Confirmed or a hold rank, check the box next to their types.
  2. Click Group as Event.

  1. Before the event is added to the queue:
    1. You can edit the event's name.
    2. You can set whether or not the offer for this event has been sent.
    3. You can remove a date by hovering over it and clicking the remove icon.
    4. You can add a date by clicking the add icon next to an unqueued event.
    5. You can preview the event's description.
    6. Click Done to finish adding the event to the queue.

Managing the Calendar Queue
  1. To remove an item from the queue, hover over it and click the remove icon. The date(s) will be moved back to the main list.
  2. To edit a date, click on its row in the calendar queue.
    1. You can edit the name.
    2. You can set whether or not the offer has been sent. (Only available for events.)
    3. You can remove a date by hovering over it and clicking the remove icon.
    4. You can add a date by clicking the add icon next to an unqueued event. (Only available for events.)
    5. You can preview the description.
    6. Click Done to finish editing.
  1. To send the queued items to the calendar, click Send Events to Venue Calendar.

  1. Confirm that you want to send the items to the calendar.


Starting Over

If you want to start the import process over (e.g. with a different ICS file):

  1. Click the start over icon.

  1. Confirm that you want to start over.
